2008 Wright Family Christmas Party

Last weekend we were able to go to Idaho to be with Brent's family for a Christmas party. We had a lot of fun. Brent and Cynthia were able to go to the temple with Doug, Connie, and Bryan, and had a great spritual moment. We enjoyed being with family during this holiday season. We got to see Bryan and Shelly's new baby, Saylor. What a cutie she was. We were able to participate in the blessing of Saylor and greatful we were their to witness this.

Family Photos

We just recently got back from Layton a couple of weekends ago. While there, we had our family pictures taken. We thought we would share those in a special slide show. Enjoy.

The Month of October

Dad coaches last game. Here is Brent warming up with the girls. The first game the girls lost 25-2. Ouch!!! However they won the second game 25-22. Way to go team and Coach Wright.

Tayler starts swimming. She sees several records on the board by Natalie Hughes and Melissa Hughes. Her goal is to see if she can get her name on that board too. The coach has already timed her and I think if she keeps with it we could see her name on record board.

Cynthia is loving Wii Fit. The competition is on between her and Brent. Cynthia currently hold the record in Wii step having completed the game with all perfects. She also claimed the ski salem record by having record jumps at 190 2x's. Brent however holds the record in boxing and soccer hits. Cynthia is sure she can take the boxing record but hasn't been able to touch the soccer record. Never say never.

Got Paige? Paige was nominated to be on student council from her class. This qualifies her to run for teasurer. Last year she ran for vice president, but fourth graders can only run for Teasurer. Her campaign is Got Paige? and Paige -it does a student body good. She will be delivering her speech November 4th. Good Luck Paige.

Around the House- We tiled the bathrooms. Well we didn't do it, but hired help. Our room is no longer cold considering the tile fixed all the holes that were left from the original construction. We're also in the process of a vinyl fence being built. Our home is finally feeling like a real structure and not something from the factory. In spite of replacing two out of the four major appliances and having called the furnace guy twice we are grateful for our home. Being first time home buyers has been an eye opener. If we ever get the chance to do another home we should know what we're doing.

First Game Blues

Tayler had her first volleyball match of the season. We are sad to report that Pinedale beat both A and B teams for the 6th grade. Both parents and daughter were nervous for the first game. We are proud of Tayler and how well she played. We have now entered the realm of sports. We have to worry about practices, games, ect. (We feel your pain Whitney and Steve!! :) ) We hope Tayler keeps improving and we get to see them win their first game. Even though they only play Farson and Pinedale we are grateful that Tayler gets to learn new things this year in middle school.

This is Why

This is why I started a blog. How can you resist the milestones your children go through. Autumn drew this caterpillar in preschool this week and I'm quite impressed with her artwork. She goes three days a week to a wonderful preschool for three hours in the afternoon. Even though she loves it she had a meltdown on Friday night. With great sobbing she declared she wanted me to go to school with her. Autumn is tenderhearted and I'm so glad to know she enjoys my company. I get to sub for her class, but I don't think I'll be able to go with her everyday. Hopefully she won't miss me too much.

The Wright's start a BLOG - WOW it can be done!

Who'd of thought. The Wright's decided to start a blog. Thanks to Sonja, we were able to add a background. We hope to keep this up to date with stories and pictures of our family.
